Join us on Saturday morning, March 28th to create a beautiful porcelain cross with our friend, Sarah Stanley.

In this workshop, each participant will be provided with a slab of porcelain clay and tools to craft their own artwork to hang in their home or to give as a gift!

Led by potter Sarah Stanley, we’ll explore various techniques for decoration including carving, stamping, sprigging (attaching additional clay ornamentation), and adding texture. Participants will have time and extra clay to practice and test their ideas before constructing their final piece.
Each finished cross will be taken to Sarah’s home studio, fired to cone 6, and glazed with the workshop participant’s choice of glaze (10 different glaze options will be provided). 

Experience with clay is not necessary, and all skill levels are welcome. Please dress for some mess!

Space is limited to 12 participants.

Sarah Stanley is a studio potter, and owner of Red Tree Clay. She loves working with porcelain to make pottery for daily life.
